A Numbers Game is a Final Major Project that uses augmented reality to create an insight into what football shirt numbers are and why it’s important to keep them in the modern game. The augmented reality takes you on a journey that explores the reasoning behind why you find that number in a particular position on the field by looking at influential players who wore a particular number and how they made their number their own.
The evolution of shirt positions comes to life by moving around the page; similar to how dyslexic people view words and numbers, at an early age. The numbers moving around the page explains the functionality of each role found on the field and the correlation to that particular number. The motion graphics bring the book to life by implementing colour using AR software that creates a realistic aesthetic of the actual shirts themselves.
