I’m James Heels, a Graphic Designer based in Hampshire, England, specialising in branding identity and motion graphics. I love seeing a design come to life in movement and symbolism. For as long as I can remember, I have been sketching and doodling images that meant more to me than just a picture; they served a function, whether a poster, vehicle wrap, or logo. Design will always be important to me.
As a Dyslexic, creative thinking is my superpower; design gives me the tools to tackle problems and help people understand in other ways. During my time at the University of Portsmouth (2021-2024), I was able to grasp other people's thinking and develop my skills as an academic and designer, as well as explore and experiment with different areas of design.
Art is for speculation; design serves a purpose.
